Terms of service

Effective October 28, 2026. These terms cover the Slopless Chrome extension, the subscription, and this website (sloply.app).

The short version

You can pay monthly and cancel anytime, keeping access until the end of the month you paid for, or pay once for lifetime access. Its AI detection is a best guess and will sometimes be wrong. Don’t share or resell your license key, and don’t use Slopless to harm anyone. Questions go to support@sloply.app.

Agreeing to these terms

By installing the extension, subscribing, or using this website, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Slopless. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.

What Slopless does

Slopless is a browser extension that looks for content that is likely AI-generated on the pages you visit, and blurs, removes or labels it. It decides using file metadata, labels that sites add themselves, writing patterns, and open-source detection models that run on your computer.

Detection is never certain. Slopless will miss some AI-generated content and will sometimes flag content made by people. Its results are an estimate, not a fact about any image, video, text or person, and you shouldn’t rely on them for decisions that matter, such as academic, employment, legal or journalistic judgments about someone’s work.

Your license key

Your subscription comes with a license key. It’s for you. Don’t share, publish, sell or transfer it. We may deactivate a key that’s being shared or used in a way that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Slopless or this website to:

Other people’s content and services

Slopless works on websites run by other people. We don’t control those sites or their content, and we aren’t responsible for them. The detection models are open-source models published by their authors under their own licenses (Apache 2.0 and MIT). Payments run through Stripe and the website is hosted by Netlify, each under their own terms.

Changes to Slopless and to these terms

We may improve, change or stop parts of Slopless. If we stop offering Slopless, we’ll tell you in advance and stop charging monthly subscribers; lifetime access ends when the product does. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update this page, change the effective date, and, for subscribers, email you before the change applies. Continuing to use Slopless after that means you accept the new terms.

Ending your use

You can stop anytime by canceling your subscription and uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms; where reasonable, we’ll tell you why first.

No warranty

Slopless is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it will catch any particular content.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on a detection result. Our total liability for any claim about Slopless is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country or US state], and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
